Times Square Rocked By Early-morning ExplosionNew York City police cordoned off a section of Times Square this morning after a blast at a military recuitment office, apparently caused by a small explosive device. Fox News reported that a second unexploded device had been found. The blast at 3.45am (0845 GMT) sent early-bird commuters running for cover. No deaths were reported, although one police officer was said to have received minor burns to his legs. Police officers immediately flooded Midtown Manhattan armed with automatic rifles and flanked by bomb-sniffing dogs.
