Malaysia: Minister Quits Over Sex DVDsThe health minister, Chua Soi Lek, quit his post, a day after conceding that he was the man involved in various sexual acts on two DVDs that were widely circulated in his home state, Johor. Mr. Chua, who is married with three children, described the woman with him on the video, believed to have been recorded in a hotel room with four cameras, as a “personal friend.” He also said he had not made the DVDs. On Wednesday, in his second news conference on the subject in two days, he said he regretted that people could not accept his public apology. “Some Malaysians have a holier-than-thou attitude,” he said.
